Xanana Gusmão Reading Room Fundraiser

A Xanana Gusmão Reading Room fundraiser was held to celebrate HE Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao’s 78th birthday. The wonderful celebratory event included an auction of artworks by Prime Minister Xanana and several items owned by him, which raised an impressive US$1.2 million for the Reading Room.
Several East Timor Trading team members attended the event to show our support for the Reading Room, and ETT was proud to be the winning bidder on two art pieces that will grace the offices. ETT was also proud to sponsor the event by providing all drinks, including two Highland Legend bars, Skol, Carlsberg, Yellowtail wines, and prizes for the raffle draw, which included bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and King George Blue Label.
