On April 23, 2024, Mr. John Diffenderfer, a Management Performance Coach at East Timor Trading Group (ETTG), extended his support to Marvi to participate in two upcoming events. The first event is the Timorese fundraising party, scheduled for May 4, 2024, and organized by Friends of Ermera and members of the East Timorese community living in Melbourne, Australia. The second event is the Taca 20 de Maio event, a football tournament that celebrates East Timorese Independence Day. The event is scheduled from May 17-22, 2024, in Great Yarmouth, UK, and is organized by the Timorese Community of Great Yarmouth/Assosiasaun Desportiva Timorense UK.

The fundraising party in Melbourne, Australia, will be held at Arthur Wren Hall in Hampton Park, City of Casey. It is expected to draw more than 300 attendees, including young people from Timor who are in Australia on a seasonal worker program. The event will showcase traditional dance performances, live music, and other activities.

ETTG hopes for Marvi’s successful participation in both events and offers support for the stabilization of the Marvi Foundation fundraising in Timor-Leste.
