East Timor Trading Group (ETTG) is proud to extend its support to Ensino Básico Filial Edi in Maubisse, Ainaro Municipality.

In the heart of Maubisse, within the rolling hills of Ainaro, stands Escola Ensino Básico Filial Edi — a humble school where 152 children gather each day with one powerful dream: to learn, to grow, and to build a brighter Timor-Leste.

For years, these children studied in difficult conditions — limited resources, old classrooms, and little access to technology, shared Teacher Olan. But their spirit never faded. Their laughter still filled the classrooms, and their determination inspired everyone who crossed their path.

Moved by their resilience, East Timor Trading Group (ETTG) responded to the school’s heartfelt request for support — delivering much-needed equipment, including computers, printers, projectors, and other essential materials. When our team arrived in Maubisse, we were greeted with smiles that said more than words ever could.

That day became one of history and heart.

Alongside the Tatoli event, ETTG’s CEO brought the students to meet His Excellency President José Ramos-Horta — a moment none of them will forget. The children walked half an hour to reach the venue, where the President praised their courage and dedication to education, offering them words of encouragement and even a personal gesture of generosity.

Laughter, inspiration, and promises filled the air — the CEO invited the students to one day share their success stories with her again in the future. It was a day of dreams shared, hope renewed, and the beginning of new opportunities.

For ETTG, this is more than a donation — it is a commitment to the future of Timor-Leste. Because when we invest in education, we invest in a generation that will carry our nation forward.
